Just in time for Christmas shopping, we have got ourselves all set up on Amazon Smile. This clever system allows you to raise money for SuperTroop when you go some online shopping on Amazon!
It couldn’t be easier:
Follow the prompts to select SuperTroop as your chosen charity
Save smile.amazon.co.uk as your default way to access Amazon, to ensure every eligible purchase results in a donation to SuperTroop. Only purchases made through smile.amazon.co.uk are eligible to generate donations.
Shop on Amazon as you normally would. Amazon will donate 0.5% of what you spend to SuperTroop at no extra cost to you!
If you do some of your Amazon shopping through an app on your smartphone or tablet you’ll also want to set that up to donate. This is easy to set-up but a teensy bit trickier to maintain because cheeky old Amazon don’t want you to eat into their profits!
Log into the the Amazon app on your phone and click on the main menu icon (which looks like an equals = sign but with three horizontal bars instead of two)
Click on Settings and then Amazon Smile
Click on the button that says “set up Amazon Smile” or similar and follow the on-screen instructions to select SuperTroop and complete the process
To keep using Amazon Smile make sure you allow notifications from Amazon on your phone (you can mute them, but if you turn them off all together it will deregister your link to the charity).
You will also need to confirm that you want to keep donating to us every six months.
